In this episode, Chandrika talks with non-diet dietitian Natalie Scott from Be Mindful Nutrition about how we might find acceptance and peace with our bodies throughout our lives, despite the narrow view of acceptable bodies according to the dominant diet culture.
Natalie Scott is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who graduated from Curtin University in Perth with a degree in Nutrition and Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics. During her 10+ years of experience, she worked with clients in a range of settings including Community, Private Practice, and Hospitals in Perth as well as regional locations around Western Australia.
Natalie specialises in working with clients who struggle with weight and body image concerns, disordered eating, chronic dieting and eating disorders. She uses a non diet, Health at Every Size (HAES) approach to help people to improve their relationship with food and learn to care for their bodies without dieting or restriction.
